4 steps for supporting children when they become emotional

M1 Activity 2: Using the Virtual Classroom and Video Tools

We know the rational part of the human brain isn’t fully developed until they are much older. However, we can try to use better ways to support our children in dealing with their emotions.

I made this 3 minutes short video to share 4 steps that "What we could do and ask when children are emotional" , also some ideas about "How to set a cool down corner".

Some ideas to set the cool- down corner:

1. Instead of a big open space, Cooldown corner should offer limited private space where children can hide inside with privacy and feel safe, we also decorated a lot of things and toys which can drive their attention away from their emotions.

2. Also, don't forget to set a timer to remind the time.
